Since April 2024, Peter Wolf has been a new partner at WCL, Worldwide Consultants in Logistics GmbH. In our “People on Focus” series, we would like to introduce Peter in more detail. With a career spanning several decades in the shipping industry, Peter has earned an outstanding reputation through his extensive expertise and his proven ability to successfully lead in senior management roles.
With more than 45 years of experience in the shipping industry and an impressive career that began at Hapag Lloyd AG in Hamburg, Peter Wolf brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to our team. Peter has proven himself as an outstanding industry expert, playing a key role in establishing and leading the CMA CGM network in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary.
As a founding member of CMA Germany and former Managing Director of CMA CGM Germany, Peter successfully integrated numerous acquisitions and significantly contributed to the development of sales and account management strategies. His deep understanding of corporate and agency management, as well as his ability to lead transformation and integration processes, makes him a valuable addition to our team.
Furthermore, Peter is a sought-after keynote speaker and panelist at international conferences on topics such as sustainability, the energy transition, and port development. With his extensive experience, he will take our company to the next level.
In his free time, Peter enjoys engaging in sports activities, with a particular focus on cycling.
