Martin Sieg is a highly qualified logistics professional with over 30 years of experience in the international logistics and supply chain industry. Since 2015, he has been a partner and managing director at WCL Worldwide Consultants in Logistics, where he is responsible for developing M&A, growth and go-to-market strategies for the freight forwarding and logistics industry.
Prior to his current role, he held various senior positions in global logistics companies such as Rhenus Logistics, Maersk, Bolloré and Hapag-Lloyd. At Rhenus Logistics, as CEO Air and Ocean Europe, he was responsible for all European air and ocean freight activities and managed procurement, sales, marketing, process development, controlling, M & A and human resources.
Before joining Rhenus Logistics, Martin Sieg was Global Head of Ocean Freight at DAMCO/Maersk, a global provider of freight forwarding and supply chain management services. He also worked for Bolloré for more than 13 years, most recently as Managing Director until December 2011. Martin Sieg started his career in the logistics industry as Managing Director of Hapag-Lloyd UK, a container shipping company based in Germany.
In addition to his current role at WCL and his previous executive positions, Martin Sieg has served on the advisory and supervisory boards of several start-ups and leading logistics companies.
Throughout his career, Martin Sieg has built a reputation as a skilled and experienced logistics professional with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, strategic distribution development, restructuring and change. His expertise has made him a sought-after speaker at logistics and supply chain conferences around the world.

Hans J. Willam has been a part of the global logistics and freight forwarding industry since more than 50 years. In 1999 he founded WCL. At the end of 2016 the activities have been incorporated into the new newly founded WCL – Worldwide Consultants in Logistics GmbH. He was a shareholder and acted as Chairman of the Advisory Board. His today’s focus is two-fold: supporting the partners, and, in addition, the implementation of NVOCC Projects. During his 25+ years in WCL, he has helped various candidates, as part of the Executive Search and Recruitment activities of WCL, to grow their careers. Various candidates who have been supported by Hans J. Willam are nowadays Members of the Executive Boards of Top 5 GLSP’s.
He has also been successful in M+A Projects for midsize companies with an enterprise value above € 50 Mio.
Prior to the foundation of WCL, Hans J. Willam had been employed by Kuehne+Nagel (KN) for almost 20 years. His last role in KN was Global Head of Oceanfreight. KN is the global market leader in Oceanfreight. During his last couple of years at KN, he was responsible for approx. two thirds of KN’s global EBIT result. He held important positions at KN in Europe, Asia and the USA.
He also spent 4 years with Danzas (now DHL). Additionally he was the Global CEO of an international midsize forwarder with subsidiaries in more than 10 countries.
His 2-year engagement at GEODIS in Paris as Global Head of Ocean- and Airfreight, as well as his dual function as RCEO LATAM, helped him to further shape his global logistics competences.
Hans J. Willam also held honorary positions, including Member of the Board of the Hamburg Freight Forwarders Association (VHSP). The association has approx. 400 members.
Thanks to his 50+ years in the logistics and freight forwarding business, Hans J. Willam is well respected as a competent leader within the industry. Additionally, the logistics media is regularly looking for his advice in view of the challenges and changes within the Global Logistics industry.

Christian Nebel, born and raised in the port city of Hamburg, has a proven record of 42 years in International Freight Forwarding and Logistics across Europe, USA, and Asia Pacific. He joined WCL as a partner in April 2022 and became a shareholder in January 2023. His main activities within WCL are executive search and recruitment.
Before joining WCL in Hamburg, he worked many years in the logistics industry. His career started in 1980 as an apprentice with Schenker & Co, GmbH – today know as DB Schenker in Hamburg. He accepted a transfer to Los Angeles in 1986, taking over the ocean freight activities for Southern California.
In 1990, Christian was transferred to Schenker Hong Kong where he worked in various management positions including heading all commercial and ocean freight activities for Southern China. After 12 years in Hong Kong, he transferred to New Delhi, India and was appointed Managing Director. In 2006, he led the organization through the merger with Bax Global and took over the management of both entities. DB Schenker India became a market leader in Ocean / Airfreight and developed contract logistics as well as vertical market entry strategies under his leadership.
In 2012, Christian joint JAS as Executive Vice President Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. His main objective during the first year was to re-organise the country management structure across the region. Furthermore, he implemented an Air-and Ocean freight Product Management Organisation, followed by building a solid Key Account / Sales team in Asia.
He decided to move back to his native Germany in 2016, taking over the position of Managing Director FF at Geodis Germany. Geodis, being part of SNCF (French Railways) is a midsize logistics player in Germany with three hundred staff and 7 office location.
In 2018, Christian moved back to Hong Kong, resuming the Position as Regional CEO – Asia Pacific for Fr. Meyer`s Sohn (FMS) a privately owned Logistics Provider, based in Hamburg. FMS is a TOP 15 Global NVOCC, focusing on commodity FCL shipping activities.
Beginning of 2021, he joint Agility in Hong Kong as Regional CEO, North Asia. He was responsible for Agility´s activities in China & Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, and Korea. After the take over of Agility by DSV, Christian decided to permanently move back to Hamburg.

Peter Wolf, who joined WCL as a partner in 2024, is looking back on more than 45 years of shipping experience, starting his career as an apprentice at Hapag Lloyd AG in Hamburg.
After finishing his military service, Peter moved to the Paul Guenther Agency organization in 1979, where he took up several agency functions whilst working for several international shipping lines.
In 1986, he moved to another shipping agency named Ernst Glaessel, where he became Line Manager representing the French Shipping Line CMA. 5 years later, Peter joined the CMA organization – lately known as CMA CGM Group – being a founding member of CMA Germany.
Starting as Director Sales and Commercial, Peter established the CMA CGM network in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary in the 90’s as well as steering the Sales activities and Key Account Management/Development within this area.
Following several shipping line acquisitions done by CMA CGM in the following years (such as Delmas, ANL, and APL, among others), Peter successfully integrated those brand entities into the sole CMA CGM Agency network, meanwhile leading the organization as Managing Director until mid-2023.

Nevine Motiramani was born and raised in Hamburg, Germany and has more than ten years working experience in logistics and other industries with a Sales and Business Development focus. She joined WCL in October 2023 and has taken on different tasks in the fields of Merger & Acquisition and Recruiting.
Nevine Motiramani started her professional career at DB Schenker Beijing as a Trade Lane Manager for Latin America, Middle East and Africa. After two years she moved to Shanghai, increasing her area of responsibility also to the Central China Region.
In 2014 Nevine moved to Milan, Italy, where she completed her studies and was accredited with her MBA degree at Politecnico di Milano. After working for Porsche Consulting Milano, she has started to work for an Italian FMCG company with responsibilities in Germany and later moved back to Shanghai as the Partner & Agency Manager for Moleskine China.
In 2018 she started her own company, which brought her back to Germany. The NEXTING GmbH started its operations with its own brands, as well as distribution of Korean products in Germany and has since increased its scope to various services, such as Sales, Distribution and Consulting.
Throughout her career, Nevine Motiramani has gained knowledge of different industries and countries, always focusing on the development and growth of her employers’ and own businesses. She is very happy to turn this expertise into benefits for our potential customers in consulting at WCL.

Jochen Freese is a long-standing C-Level manager in the logistics industry and has been leading the commercial organization of some of the top supply chain companies. Since 2024 he is a partner of WCL in the field of Executive Search and M&A. He also serves as a Board Member and Advisory Board Member on different organizations in Logistics, Start-Ups and Professional Services Companies.
Prior to his current roles, he was the Chief Commercial Officer of global logistics companies like Forto Logistics, CEVA Logistics or Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. In addition, he also served as the global Air and Sea Freight CEO, has been leading major regions as CEO and build procurement organization. He developed and led the industry vertical focus of various industry players.
Previously to his career in logistics service providers, he has built as the Managing Director the first multi OEM automotive supplier park in the world and worked for many years in South Africa. Jochen started his career as a M.Sc. in lecturing at University and positions in the field of applied research and consulting with the German Fraunhofer Gesellschaft. He has led various projects with customers in Automotive, Aerospace, Technology and Logistics.
In addition to his current role, Jochen is also involved as business angel with start-ups, has been publishing various articles or contributed to conferences over the year and is a honorary member (Wirtschaftssenator h.c.) of the the German Association for Small and Medium-sized Businesses (BVMW).
Throughout his career, he has developed deep expertise in designing commercial organizations, developing a vertical industry focus and has built global organizations in logistics companies. With work experience on the ground in different continents he combines international experience with various global leadership positions.

Svend Hartog, born in Lübeck and raised in Lübeck and Hamburg, has acquired extensive knowledge and experience over 30 years across the entire supply chain in the DACH region and Europe.
He specialises in contract logistics as well as logistics and SCM processes in trade and industry.
Before becoming a partner at WCL in 2024, he trained as a freight forwarder and completed a basic degree in law. Since 1990, Svend has also held a degree in business administration, specialising in SCM and logistics.
He gained his first management experience as Director Supply Chain and Logistics at the manufacturing company Campbell Soup, where he worked for a total of 12 years until the mid-2000s.
This was followed by almost 20 years at C-level and as CEO in contract logistics (Hermes, DHL, Baur Fulfillment Solutions, JCL). During this time, Svend also managed logistics and SCM in retail companies such as Hagebau and Depot.
Since the beginning of 2024, Svend has been working as a management consultant with his own company “Svend Hartog Logistics Consulting SH” as a sparring partner and consultant at C-level for companies in the logistics services, trade and industry sectors.
Svend is an excellent team player and “people catcher” and is characterised by his pragmatic, hands-on and success-oriented way of working.

Izabella has more than 25 years of experience in the HR and recruitment industry. She founded Personality Personnel Consulting in 1999 and has specialized in the transportation and logistics industry since its inception.
She is one of the few experts in this area in the Polish market, and has worked in international markets for several years, recruiting professionals for companies in Western Europe and CEE.
Izabella is active as a participant, speaker or panelist at Polish or international logistics industry conferences, including Eurologistics in Poland and SCLG in Dubai.
Izabella graduated from the University of Warsaw with a master’s degree, and also completed postgraduate studies at the Canadian Business School in Warsaw in Human Resources Management and Finance.

He began his career in 1979 as an apprentice at DB Schenker in Wels and worked his way through all the departments of a freight forwarder. After a year with TNT-Express Worldwide as Depot General Manager, he returned to DB Schenker in 1993. Kurt headed various departments and progressed from departmental manager to branch manager to Board Member for Air and Ocean Freight, Contract Logistics and Sales, before being appointed CEO of DB Schenker Southeast-Europe in 2013. In 2016, he was appointed CEO of DB Schenker Germany & Switzerland. In 2019 he had a special assignment to set up a region in Central Asia & Caucasus. From 2020 to 2022, he held managing director positions in Austrian trucking & forwarding companies and strengthened his experience in large fleet management with truck fleet management and European intermodal transport.
Throughout his career at DB Schenker, he has always maintained a certain focus on contract logistics, the management & development of sales units as well as overall concepts for transport solutions. The management of outsourcing projects is one of his key competences.
Kurt opened his own consulting company, KL-Logistik & Management Consulting e.U. in Wels, Austria in November 2022. He supports the transport and forwarding market as well as the industry with his many years of experience in all kinds of transport & logistics issues as well as management topics. He is also active in Executive Search & Recruiting as well as M&A affairs in Austria and South East Europe.
In addition to his professional activities, Kurt is Vice-Chairman of the Austrian Logistics Association VNL (Verein Netzwerk Logistik) and a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences in Steyr/Austria.

Pietro Albarelli joined WCL in August 2024, bringing over 30 years of experience in the freight forwarding and logistics industry. Born and raised in a family that founded one of the first freight forwarding companies in the Italian market in 1876, Pietro has deep roots in the industry.
After completing his Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration, Pietro began his career in London in 1992 as a finance trainee with Lep Group Plc. A year later, he returned to Italy to join the family business as a Junior Controller.
Pietro quickly rose through the ranks and became Chief Financial Officer for GeoLogistics Italy, later assuming the same role at Agility GIL. In 2009, after the formation of regional clusters, he was promoted to Chief Financial Officer for Southern Europe.
After four successful years in this position, Pietro transitioned to general management, becoming the Managing Director for Southern Europe and joining the European Management Board. In this role, he was responsible for the commercial and operational development of Agility GIL’s business in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Turkey.
Pietro’s leadership and expertise were crucial for the continuous improvements and strong financial performance in Southern Europe. He left the company at the end of 2021 following its acquisition by DSV to start a new career as a consultant.
With experience in both family-run SMEs and large multinational corporations, Pietro has developed extensive expertise in various European markets. His focus areas include commercial development, process optimization, M&A and Greenfield operations, restructuring and reorganization, change management, and system implementation.

Anita has worked in the international freight forwarding industry for over 20 years and has a Bachelor Degree majoring in International Business and Trade.
In 2003 Anita started her career at Kuehne+Nagel’s Regional Headquarter in New York, where she has started to learn the Seafreight Industry and was responsible for Imports from Europe and Asia. She then moved on to become a Business Analyst and Integration Manager for Customer Solutions, managing projects for large Clients from various industries that improved their Supply Chain processes.
Before moving back to Germany in 2011, after living abroad for almost 8 years, Anita had started her own company in the U.S. working as a Logistics Consultant and representative for WCL since 2009.
Anita joined the WCL Germany team in early 2011, while still holding a part-time position with Kuehne+Nagel’s Corporate Customer Solutions Team, working on new system developments to respond to business demands.
In 2016 Anita moved to Miami, FL where she founded WCL Americas LLC to represent the company and its services for the North and South American market.

Samuel Israël, 65 is an industry veteran with over 40 years of global experience in Logistics and Supply Chain. Samuel, a French-American citizen, has acquired superior knowledge in the international trade environment having lived and worked in Europe, in the Americas and in the Middle-East.
From 2000 to 2012 as Regional CEO for DHL Global Forwarding he has built the major logistics organization in Latin America with a revenue exceeding USD$1.5 billion in 2011. During his tenure, Samuel has driven mergers and acquisitions, integrations and massive organic growth.
In 2013 Samuel joined Damco,the logistic arm of the Maersk Group to first lead its Latin America region out of Panama and then the newly formed region of IMEA (India, Middle East and Africa) based out of Dubai completing there massive restructuring and financial turnaround.
Since 2016 Samuel is back in the Americas to leverage his vast experience and support logistics organizations in their transformation and growth journeys. More recently he has helpied a regional 3PL start-up successfully a full-fledged subisdiary in Mexico . Additionnally he has supported M&As transaction in the region.

Reto started out in Switzerland working for companies such as Jacky Maeder (later absorbed by Panalpina), Universal Express and Georg Fischer (Logistics Department). In his early years he worked besides in Switzerland in Italy, UK and Mexico in operational and sales position soon reaching managerial levels.
Joined Kuehne + Nagel in 1984 going through a number of positions in various locations such as Egypt, Switzerland, Spain Mexico, Argentina and Chile until retirement in 2021.
During his 36 year tenure at Kuehne + Nagel Reto has contributed significantly to the growth and development of the KN organization. Some of the main achievements are certainly having reached the (3 PL) – Seafreight leadership in Spain.
From 2012-2018 during his tenure as Managing Director for Mexico the organisation has reached way above average growth expanding the Seafreight leadership and throught the operation of an additional 50’000 sq.m. of warehouses with all respective services.
In 2012 the South- Central America and Caribbean region needed a major transformation – consisting in integration of recent acquisitions as well and rightsizing of non profitable units in the region and refocusing the organization for further development and growth.

Karl-Heinz Ruzsitska resides in Santiago de Chile, where he is active as an Independent Consultant in the Freight Forwarding and Logistics Industry, not only in Chile, but throughout Latin America. He is also a Professor at the German Trade School (Insalco) in Santiago, where he is responsible for the formation of Freight Forwarders under the German dual education system. He is a WCL Representative since 2016.
Karl-Heinz started his career in Freight Forwarding as an apprentice with Haniel Spedition in 1975 in Hamburg, Germany. After successfully completing his apprenticeship and qualifying as a Certified International Freight Forwarder from the Logistics and Trade College in Hamburg he joined the West German Navy as a volunteer, after which he returned to Haniel.
His international career started in 1984 when he joined Union Air Transport who him transferred to their office in Miami, Fl. Thereafter he joined Kühne and Nagel in Miami and was transferred in 1987 to Santiago de Chile to oversee the build up of a Joint-Venture with the local partner. In 1989 he returned to Miami, Fl. to form the new KN Miami Air Freight Gateway to Latam and later taking over the role as Director of USA – LATAM Business Development.
In 1994 Karl-Heinz returned for KN to Santiago de Chile as Operations Manager for the then 100% KN owned organization in Chile. In 1997 he joined the newly formed Emery Worldwide organization in Chile and South America as Reginal South America Ocean Manager and later as Managing Director for Emery Chile.
In 2005 Karl-Heinz took over the newly formed position as Regional Ocean Freight Director Latin America for DB Schenker in Sao Paulo, Brazil. After his successful time in Brazil he returned to Chile, taking a sabbatical only to join Geodis Chile after a year off.

Reiner started his career in shipping during apprenticeship 1973-76 at Hapag-Lloyd Bremen/Hamburg. After finishing compulsary service with German Navy he continued with Hapag-Lloyd Bremen and strongly involved in business with Latin America, specially South Amercia West Coast.
After some time in London and Canary Islands at Hapag-Lloyd Agencies he joined the Ultramar Group in Chile where he continued his career in several managing positions, like at Antofagasta as Branch Manager and Santiago as Operations Manager of the Global Tramp Ship Agency and its network in Chile, later as Operations Manager of Transmares Naviera Chilena and Operations and Logistic Manager of Green Andes Chile, the Sales and Logistics office of Evergreen Line.

He started his career 1978 as an apprentice with DB Schenker in Stuttgart and worked in Domestic Transport and Events until 1985 when he transferred to DB Schenker in Sydney, Australia as manager ocean freight.
1991-1998 he was General manager NSW heading an organisation of more than 100 staff.
1999 -2001 Ron was the global director of the Sydney Olympic Games for DB Schenker and secured the logistics service contract for the Sydney Olympic Games. He employed over 700 staff in 8 locations for the Games.
2002-2019 Ron was appointed Managing Director and CEO of DB Schenker Australia/New Zealand. Under his leadership he built up an organisation with more than 1200 staff and
25 locations for Air freight, Ocean freight and Contract Logistic activities. He was also a member of the APAC management team to steer the organisation in Asia.
2019 Ron resigned from DB Schenker after a 40-year career in the company.
2007-2019 Ron was a member of the German Australian Chamber of Commerce and a Director and Chairman for the organisation. He was awarded the prestigious Grand Cross of the Order or Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany in 2016 for supporting the bilateral trade and recognition of the German Industry in Australia.
He is also a non-executive director for the National Intermodal Company in Sydney and a member of the AICD (Australian Institute of Company Directors).
Since 2019 Ron is a consultant for the logistics industry and opened his own company
RMK Consultancy Pty Ltd specialising in supporting the Freight industry. Ron as joined WCL, March 2023 as a partner, to support the organisation for the Australian market, specifically for Merger and Acquisition and Recruitment activities.

His extensive experience covers various facets of the shipping and logistics industry across multiple global regions, including Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America.
Henry commenced his professional journey with an apprenticeship in Liner Shipping at the Hamburg School of Shipping and Transportation, graduating in 1993. In early 1994, seeking international exposure, he relocated to Hong Kong to join International Freightbridge Ltd in a Sales and Business Development role.
In 1996, Henry joined the Swiss-headquartered Norasia Container Lines as Trade Manager for the Asia-North Europe trade, initially based in Hong Kong and later moving to Fribourg, Switzerland, in 1997. By 2000, he was transferred to Long Beach, CA, as Regional Manager for the US West Coast. His career with Norasia saw him rise to Regional Director for Germany & Benelux in Hamburg in July 2002, and subsequently, in July 2003, he assumed leadership of all Commercial Activities in Europe for Norasia.
In November 2004, Henry transitioned to Kuehne & Nagel as Route Manager in Hamburg and Hong Kong until September 2009. He then joined DB Schenker Hong Kong as Director of Ocean Freight for Hong Kong and South China, managing the Ocean Freight Organization, overseeing operations across several key ports and cities and as a member of the Global Ocean Freight Steering Committee. In September 2013, he advanced to lead the Sales and Key Account Management Organization for DB Schenker Hong Kong and South China.
From 2018 to 2020, Henry served as Managing Director Asia Pacific for MBS Logistics in Hong Kong and in September 2020 joined Agility Logistics as Vice President Ocean Freight Asia Pacific, eventually becoming CEO South Asia and a member of the Asia Pacific Management Board until March 2022, when Agility was acquired by DSV.
In April 2022, Henry returned to his roots in container shipping as Global Managing Director for a newly established Ocean Carrier, establishing their global liner operations headquartered in Singapore until May 2024.
Currently based in Pune, India, Henry has taken on the role of Managing Partner at the International NVOCC Air Sea Broker Limited. He also offers consultancy and advisory services through his company, Anchor Consult Limited.

Leslie started his career in COSCO Container line in Qingdao in 1995, then one year later he joined Evergreen Line’s agency office and took over varied roles in position of West bound, Vessel Planner, Import department and East bound department.
In 2001 he joined TMT, the Joint Venture between Maersk and China Railway, to support the block train operation for Maersk Line and other shipping lines with presence in China inland markets.
In 2002 he joined Maersk Logistics (now Damco) in Qingdao, responsible for FNG unit (NVOCC business by branding of DSL Star Express). In 2003 he was promoted to North China ITM head, overall responsible for NVOCC and Airfreight business as PNL owner. In 2006 he relocated to Tianjin as Tianjin/Beijing branch manager. The key success was to build up Beijing as airfreight hub in North China. In 2007 Leslie returned to Qingdao as Maersk Logistics North China operation manager, managing all suppliers’ procurement , commercial relationship and performance.
In 2008 he transferred to Brigantine Group, the affiliate of Maersk Group, as North China General Manager, to manage three joint ventures of Brigantine Group with local leading depot operators in Qingdao, Tianjin, Dalian.
After fifteen years successful experience in shipping/logistics industry, in 2011 Leslie started his own business to provide executive search service to a number of global logistics and shipping lines, e-commerce Logistics companies in China with expansion to Asia Pacific area upon customers’ assignment. Leslie establish broad people connection across shipping, freight forwarder, 3PL in Greater China Area.
Leslie received MBA (2001) and bachelor degree (1995) from Shanghai Maritime University and now he lives in Qingdao, China.
