Its core competencies include scalable and flexible supply chain strategies in 3PL, 4PL, contract logistics, packaging design, and raw material management. Responsibilities:
The incumbent will develop and implement the global strategy for the assigned verticals and drive the development and management of key customers. Additionally, they will support regional and country-specific sales organizations to optimize business development and sales pipelines. The role includes responsibility for the growth and development of solutions within the vertical portfolio.
the verticals are in a build-up phase, and expectations for the position include both strategic tasks (approximately 30%) and business expansion and customer management (approximately 70%). The candidate will also take responsibility for the EMEA region and actively establish and develop new customer relationships.

Leadership Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the team within the vertical, including performance management and goal setting.
Ensure recruitment for the vertical team in collaboration with HR.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Strategy & Business Development:
Define and implement global vertical strategies for market expansion.
Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive revenue and profit growth within the vertical portfolio.
Lead and manage a team of regional vertical leads, global key account managers, and business development teams.
Develop, communicate, and execute operational plans and budgets to achieve strategic goals.
Establish global priorities in collaboration with regional management, segments, and product teams.
Develop and provide integrated vertical solutions along customers’ supply chains.
Market & Customer Analysis:
Build industry expertise and develop in-depth market analysis.
Identify vertical-specific customer needs and define priorities.
Represent the company as an industry expert through publications and conference participation.
Sales Leadership & Engagement:
Directly support the sales team in customer meetings and negotiations.
Advise customers and expand existing relationships through targeted value-added offerings.
Build and maintain an active vertical community within the company.
Conduct regular reviews to analyze results, market opportunities, and strategic gaps.
Requirements:
Analytical skills and solid strategic thinking.
Fluent English skills (spoken and written).
Excellent communication and training abilities.
Self-motivated with strong time management.
High service orientation and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and across different departments.
Required Qualifications:
At least 10 years of sales experience.
University degree, preferably with an MBA or equivalent further education.
Other Requirements:
International travel required (at least 50%).
Ability to adapt to different working environments.
