We are seeking an experienced leader in the logistics sector to play a key role in a globally recognized company specializing in trade and supply chain solutions. As Vice President Freight Forwarding Canada, based in Toronto, you will be responsible for shaping the company’s freight forwarding operations and driving its success in the Canadian market. Reporting directly to the CEO Canada, you will work closely with a committed and dynamic team to achieve the company’s objectives.
Your Main Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies to strengthen the company, optimize processes, foster innovation, and deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
Foster a positive corporate culture and ensure the business grows and thrives in alignment with regional and global plans.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Developing and launching market-driven products such as sea and air freight, customs
clearance, and cross-border road transport.
Planning and optimizing operational workflows to increase market share and secure competitive advantages.
Leading the business with a focus on profitability and growth, while working closely with sales leadership on sales strategies and pipeline reviews.
Overseeing acquisition integrations and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
Inspiring and motivating your team, cultivating a performance-oriented culture.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and partners.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring financial and operational targets are met.
Supporting the implementation of regional and global procurement strategies at the local level and managing capacity effectively.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in the logistics sector and solid business acumen.
Ability to analyze complex financial data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication skills to influence and persuade at all levels.
Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to develop innovative solutions and anticipate market trends.
Proven experience in business and product development as well as building strategic partnerships.
