The position can be carried out at various locations within the  European region. A flexible home-office arrangement is possible, provided business requirements are met.

About the Position: 
As a Regional Account Manager (m/f/d) for the vertical markets Energy & Industry, the role involves managing and developing assigned customer relationships. The focus is on building long-term partnerships, business development, and revenue growth in alignment with corporate goals. The position serves as the main point of contact for customers in the respective region and plays a key role in customer growth and long-term retention.

Responsibilities:
Represent the company as the primary point of contact for key accounts in the region
Proactively maintain and develop customer relationships at the management level
Ensure profitable business growth as well as long-term customer retention
Collaborate with regional product and segment leaders to identify business opportunities
Annual planning and reporting on customer growth in the region
Align customer development strategy with corporate objectives
Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase revenue and profit
Support and manage the onboarding process for new customers
Handle complex logistical issues and develop innovative solutions
Prepare and process customer inquiries (RFPs/RFQs) within the specified deadlines
Create and present customized solutions for customers
Regularly review customer accounts and payment conditions

Market and Customer Analysis:
Gather and analyze industry-specific trends and customer needs
Identify future customer requirements and prioritize relevant developments


Sales and Customer Management:
Lead sales teams in customer meetings
Advise customers and expand the product and solution portfolio
Effectively support the regional account community within the company

Requirements:
Analytical thinking and strategic approach
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Excellent communication and training skills
Self-motivated with strong time management skills
Customer- and service-oriented mindset
Ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally in a team

Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in sales
A completed degree (Bachelor required, MBA or equivalent preferred)
Additional Requirements:
Willingness to travel at least 50% regionally and internationally
