An internationally active company in the field of logistics and global transport solutions is looking for an experienced and strategically minded leader for the position of Country Head (m/f/d) in Sweden. The role can be based in Stockholm or Gothenburg.
In this key position, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational development of the business in Sweden, managing profitability and driving targeted growth initiatives. You will report directly to the Senior Vice President for Central and Northern Europe and work closely with international teams.
Your Responsibilities
Develop and implement the business strategy for the Swedish market, with a focus on growth and market positioning
Full P&L responsibility for the country, including revenue growth, cost control, and sustainable profitability
Build and maintain strategic customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and develop innovative logistics solutions
Ensure efficient and excellent operational performance, with continuous process optimization
Foster a high-performance and motivated corporate culture, developing and coaching leadership teams
Conduct market and competitive analysis to proactively identify trends and business opportunities
Collaborate with other business units and international locations to maximize synergies
Your Profile
15+ years of experience in the global logistics/forwarding industry
10+ years of leadership experience in a strategic management role with budget and profit responsibility
Strong knowledge of the international logistics market and regulatory requirements
Experience in business development, contract negotiations, and change management
Strong entrepreneurial mindset and excellent commercial acumen
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
Fluent in German and English, Swedish is an advantage
